Hello Black Coffee Family!!!
A few of us in the Black Coffee & Anarres Press collectives are putting together a very special collection of stories, memories & magic. Now that Black Coffee has successfully vaulted itself around the sun, speeding at thousands of miles per hours, and somehow didn’t get destroyed by asteroids or interstellar fascists, we want to reflect & remember what we’ve created & what we’ve witnessed.
The purpose of these stories is NOT to collect reviews or compliments (although we accept flattering stories of course 
). We ARE trying to distill the variety of experiences that people have had around Black Coffee, and to learn what this place has meant for various people at various times. They do not need to be centered around Black Coffee - but should connect back to it at some point.
We are welcoming stories that are personal, bizarre, magical, emotional, curious, unfinished, and beyond.
Short & Sweet is the name of the game - try to keep it under 250 words, and the most succinct stories are the most likely to make it to print. We will be able to publisher a larger volume of stories online, so you’re guaranteed to be published in some form.
Please send your entry to stories@blackcoffeecoop.com. Please submit your story by Thursday August 21st if you’d like to make it into the print publication.
