May Newsletter

Hello Black Coffee Family!

There are three special events we’d like it highlight this month. We’ll send a separate email out highlighting May Day festivities - however, Black Coffee will be closed for May Day as a holiday for the workers.

1. Meet Coffee Farmers!

This Friday, 4/25 will be a rare opportunity to meet the very farmers who grow some of the Kuma-roasted coffee served at Black Coffee. These are individuals representing heirloom farms & cooperatives growing some of the highest quality coffee in the world.

Come at 5:30pm this Friday for an early happy hour & Q&A with these distinguished farmers.

2. Too Much To Celebrate!

Join a benefit for Black Coffee - a celebration of many milestones.

  • Welcome 2 new Worker-Owner
  • The Collective turns 3 Years Old
  • The Cafe turns 1.5 Years Old
  • 501 E Pine “Warn Building” turns 100 years old
  • Belated May Day & Spring Celebration
  • Worker-Owner Scott turns 25
